Meet Lila, a terrier born on approx 4/15/24. Lila is a sweetheart who is still coming out of her shell. Since she arrived in our home, she’s been quiet, shy, scared of people and noises, and seems to be just learning how to navigate stairs. She mostly paces but has started to find corners to sit and observe. She absolutely loves the other big dog in the home and looks to him for confidence and a little play. She would do best in a home with another dog. We’ve seen some cautious playfulness coming through, and a tiny bit of attention-seeking, but mostly she’s been anxious or wanting to hide. Occasionally she will quietly steal a shoe or counter surf but is easily redirected. She does well in her kennel, keeping it clean, walks pretty well on a leash, and does well for car rides. Mostly potty trained but not quite 100%. She loves being outside and will do best in a fenced yard as she thrives when she can explore untethered. She cannot wait to find her forever family!
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:
