Meet Tommy, a Spaniel/Chihuahua mix born approx 8/26/24. Tommy came the long way from Mexico with his sister Anna.Tommy is good on car rides, nice and quiet. He is quiet in his kennel overnight but might bark for a bit when left in there during the day. He will also bark when he hears noises during the night. He is working on his house training and is doing well.
He loves balls, stuffed animals and nyla bones. He may chew and non-toy items but is easily corrected. He is still a puppy and is learning so many new things and skills.
Tommy may start off a little shy, but give him time, and his sweet personality truly shines. He adores being around people and dogs, finding comfort and companionship and the joy of play. Whether snuggling up for a quiet moment or running around with furry friends, Tommy is happiest when surround by love. Since he is on the shyer side, Tommy will need another, confident, dog in his new home. He loves people and other dogs. There are no small children in his current foster home, but I think he will be good with all ages of kids.
He’s curious about the cats in his foster home, but not in an aggressive way. He’s just not sure what to think about these creatures that are his size but not K9’s.
Tommy is looking for a patient and understanding forever home where he can continue building confidence and sharing his affection. Could you be the one to show him the warmth he deserves?
